Welcome to my photography blog. I will be sharing with you my thoughts on landscape and nature photography in general, as well as sharing information specific to my own photography. I hope to also include links to the work by other photographers I find inspiring, products and resources that I find useful. Your comments are welcome.

I really like the way you've taken a simple composition and given it some interest with the use of blur and fog. A great combo.

Wonderful new images Bill, they're both beautiful compositions. In particular the image with the sea stack and foreground rock. Wonderful! Very Zen.

These are great ones, Bill. The first photograph is beautifully spare, yet filled with feeling. The second image is haunting, literally, as in a watery ghost town, or ghost pier.

Hi Bill, nice images showning that no matter the weather there are great images to be had. I was by Bandon last year but the wind was so strong it was sand blasting you - I got a couple shots crouching between rocks for shelter but that was it.

I just noticed that the first image has a centered horizon line but still works very well. It is probably because the sky and water are almost the same tonal value and color. Way to break a rule.
